Dining Magic at Walt Disney World

Typically in Walt Disney World the park attractions are what most people focus on the most. It's so easy to overlook all the wonderful dining locations while you are running from one thing to the next in the the most magical place on earth! Riding the Tower of Terror is exciting (its my most favorite ride in all of Walt Disney World!) but eventually all that running around catches up with you and we all need to stop once in a while to eat.

One of the wonderful things about all the dining options you have as a guest in Walt Disney World is that if a simple slice of pizza is what you crave, it's readily available. But if you are desiring something a little more, there are meal options from pretty much every food category. Not only are there an abundance of quick-service locations, there are table-service and signature dining locations as well, and they are plentiful. Advanced Dining Reservations for table service dining is usually recommended although there are times when walk-ins are welcome as well. Not only can you get a wide variety of food service styles, there is a fabulous variety of meal options, from mac n' cheese, to bratwurst in Epcot's Germany Pavillion, or how about a South African dining experience in Animal Kingdom Lodge's "Jiko".

There are also dinner shows and character dining to add even more magic to your meals! Does enchanting music, authentic dances and a polynesian feast sound exciting? Try Disney's Spirit Of Aloha Dinner Show in Disney's Polynesian Resort. Or how about breakfast with Mickey and Friends? Try Chef Mickey's, located in Disney's Contemporary Resort!

Are your kids picky eaters? Disney has you covered. Most table service dining locations are happy to prepare something that may not be on the menu for your child, such as chicken nuggets or mac'n cheese. A helpful tip is to contact the dining location ahead of time and prepare them, but overall, Disney is happy to accomodate the pickiest eaters, as well as guests with special dietary needs.

Walt Disney World has dining options for every budget and taste. The options are endless! Furthermore, if you need information on dining plans offered with your Magic Your Way Vacation Package or need Advanced Dining Reservations, just ask your travel agent! Bon Appetite!

La Nouba Mesmerizes Audiences of All Ages at Walt Disney World

La Nouba Mesmerizes Audiences of All Ages at Walt Disney World

For the past 12 years Cirque Du Soleil’s La Nouba, located in Walt Disney World Resort’s Downtown Disney West Side, has entertained audiences with its kaleidoscopic pageantry and exhilarating acrobatic acts. This truly one of a kind show offers its viewers a chance to step into a new world full of unique characters and musical styles. If you are looking for some of Walt Disney World’s most renowned entertainment, La Nouba is sure to exceed your expectations.

La Nouba opened in Downtown Disney’s West Side in 1998 to high flying reviews. The show is one of several produced by Cirque Du Soleil, a company known for its uniquely designed performances that are created to “invoke the imagination, provoke the senses, and evoke the emotions of audience members around the world.”

The premise for La Nouba is a look at what happens when the world of dreams and reality collide with one another. In the world of La Nouba, the ordinary mixes with the extraordinary to create a new dimension rich with color, vibrant with music, and dazzling with talents never before showcased.

The vast array or unusual characters and spectacular performers include two Charlie Chaplin-like clowns, a lovable and whacky pantomime, a dark and sinister strongman, a breathtaking group of young Asian yo-yoists, and many more. With so many characters and acts to display, there is simply not a dull moment in this spectacular stage show.

The arena itself is designed after the classic big top tents, but inside you will find a clean and comfortable theatre setting containing over 1,500 seats. Tickets are available at 5 different price points and start at $57.00 each and can go up to $124.00 for the front and center tickets. While this price may seem high, let me assure you that this spectacular performance is something worth every penny. It should also be said that there are no bad seats in the house; no matter where you sit, you will be guaranteed a direct view of all the action.

In its past 12 years of performances, La Nouba has dazzled and exceeded all expectations for those who have seen it. Next time you are looking for a little something extra out of your Walt Disney World vacation grab a ticket and leap, skip, and jump to La Nouba. I guarantee you an amazing experience that will make your next trip to Disney even more magical.
